Comedian Lee Bong-won shared his experience of losing 3 million won due to a broken car windshield.
On the 2nd, a video titled "Hyung.. why is this coming out of the car..?" was uploaded to the 'Bongwonihyung' channel.
That day, Lee Bong-won attracted attention by cleaning the inside of his car using a vacuum cleaner. He asked, "It's a good car, so I thought I'd clean it often, but why is the floor and stuff like this (dirty)?" and added, "I naturally maintain it. I wash my car almost once every month or two. Washing is done when it rains?? That's washing. I've washed it a few times, and it always rains. It's expensive every time I wash it. It costs 50,000 won each time for even the interior. I clean all of this out."
He then shared his changed perspective, saying, "To me, it's just a means of transportation. It's a means of transportation, but if I like it, it's a better one. At first, I was very particular about my car and took care of it when I first bought it."
Lee Bong-won asked the production crew, "But why are you here?" and the crew replied, "We came to clean the car." Afterward, Lee Bong-won said, "What do I have in the car?" but went on to introduce the items inside the car one by one.
Then, a 'windshield crack repair' product appeared for the damaged glass, and Lee Bong-won said, "This was broken last time when a stone bounced on the highway. Tesla says this is the limit of the glass. If this breaks, you have to replace the whole thing. It cost 3 million won to repair it then. So, I do the repair when it's slightly broken. To prevent it from breaking further. If I don't do that, it all cracks right away. I bought it immediately."
The production crew asked, "Is it a specialized term for 'stone chip damage'?" and Lee Bong-won responded, "It is for stone chip damage. The remarks are cheap," adding, "Also, how many did I buy? I bought several after being shocked by the stone chip damage." The crew then asked, "Isn't that trauma?" and Lee Bong-won replied, "I lost 3 million won," recalling the painful expenditure and eliciting laughter.
