The group TWS (Tourus) made a strong start by topping the Oricon chart immediately upon their debut in Japan.
According to the latest chart released by Oricon on July 1, 2025, TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin) sold 119,617 copies of their first Japanese single 'Nice to see you again' (original title: はじめまして/하지메마시테) on the first day of its release, directly securing the No. 1 spot on the 'Daily Single Ranking.' This success also marked a successful 'first meeting' with local fans, continuing TWS's unstoppable momentum.
TWS held their debut showcase in Tokyo, Japan, on July 2, kicking off their full activities. At the showcase, they performed all the songs included in their debut single, such as the title track 'Nice to see you again,' 'BLOOM (feat. Ayumu Imazu),' and the Japanese version of their domestic debut song 'the first meeting didn't go as planned' titled 'plot twist -Japanese ver.-.'
In particular, the performance of the refreshing title track 'Nice to see you again' drew enthusiastic cheers from the fans. The six members expressed the excitement of meeting again, feeling both thrilled and slightly shy, as suggested by the title meaning 'nice to see you.' The choreography, reminiscent of a summer festival scene, featured motions like gestures similar to fireworks and floating lanterns inscribed with wishes.
TWS noted, 'The debut in Japan is a new starting point for us. We are so happy to share this moment of beginning with you all. We want to convey the charm of TWS to many people and create valuable memories with 42 (fan name).' in Japanese.
Around 750 fans who won a pre-registration lottery, along with numerous media from broadcasting stations and press agencies, attended the showcase. Local media expressed surprise at how natural the members' pronunciation was while singing in Japanese, revealing high interest in the team.

Meanwhile, TWS will perform 'Nice to see you again' on the Japanese variety show 'Dayday.' on the 3rd and on the summer special music broadcast 'THE MUSIC DAY 2025' on the 5th.
