Sung Yu-ri, after the controversy related to her husband Ahn Sung-hyun, has recently returned to home shopping and continues her broadcasting activities. With her return, she has been sharing her daily life and communicating with fans through social media.
Sung Yu-ri married Ahn Sung-hyun, a former professional golfer, in 2017 and gave birth to twin daughters in 2022. However, Ahn Sung-hyun became embroiled in controversy after being sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison last December for violating the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes and for fraud and breach of trust. Ahn Sung-hyun was accused of colluding with Kang Mo, who is known to be the actual owner of the cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb, to solicit the listing of cryptocurrencies.
Subsequently, on the 11th of last month, the 13th Criminal Division of the Seoul High Court (Director General Judge Baek Kang-jin, Kim Seon-hee, Yoo Dong-kyun) granted Ahn Sung-hyun's bail request.
