Singer Chun Myung-hoon from 'Recent Men's Life: Groom Class' shared a special connection with So-wol, a former Miss China and the CEO of a dermatology clinic.
In the episode aired on the 2nd of Channel A's entertainment program 'Recent Men's Life: Groom Class' (hereafter 'Groom Class'), Chun Myung-hoon's date with So-wol to Nami Island was shown.
Since it was a surprise date, the destination was something So-wol was still unaware of. The alley lined with dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken) restaurants was Nami Island. So-wol initially couldn't guess the destination, which surprised her. Moreover, when Chun Myung-hoon suggested taking a zip line, So-wol was taken aback.
Chun Myung-hoon said, "When you ride a zip line, the heartbeat you feel is almost the same as when you feel love," and explained that he wanted to create that feeling, which was why he planned the first date in this way, leaving everyone astonished.
However, there was a particular reason Chun Myung-hoon wanted to impress So-wol. It wasn't solely about his career or looks.
Chun Myung-hoon shared, "After releasing my trot album in 2020, I couldn't engage in activities. I was alone during that time. The only person who comforted me was So-wol, who said, 'Oppa, I'm listening to your song. Why is your song so good?' She truly was my only source of comfort," expressing gratitude for So-wol's warm character.
