Recently, an interview was conducted for the ending of the drama 'Our Unwritten Seoul' featuring Park Jin-Young at the BH Entertainment headquarters.
Park Jin-Young played the role of 'Lee Ho-Soo,' a lawyer at a large law firm, showcasing a brilliant performance in the tvN weekend drama 'Our Unwritten Seoul' (scripted by Lee Kang, directed by Park Shin-Woo, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Monster Union and High Ground), which concluded on the 29th of last month.
There were favorable reviews for the drama as well as for actor Park Jin-Young. When asked, 'Have you looked for any reactions?' Park Jin-Young disclosed, 'I didn't know where to look, so I tried searching 'Our Unwritten Seoul' on X (formerly Twitter) a couple of times, but the reactions have been so good that I think I stopped watching since that moment. It's because it's going so well and everyone seems to like it. I thought if I looked more, I'd get too carried away.'
He continued, 'Of course, it's true that our profession can be sensitive, and there might be situations that cause us to waver. But I don't want to feel that way yet. I think I tried to avoid looking at it as much as possible. And I don't know where to look.'
He also said, 'Searching my name feels awkward. I can't do it. There are too many Jin-Youngs. I don't want to get hurt anymore, so I just don't look for it,' which drew laughter.
Particularly, Park Jin-Young has recently surpassed the search volume of producer Park Jin-Young at JYP Entertainment and has been ranking high in portal site searches. When asked about this, he smiled and said, 'I guess it might be just for a moment.' He added, 'As everyone knows, producer Park Jin-Young is quite a delightful person and a legend in the music industry. He was also my producer at the company. I auditioned purely because of seeing him, so I really respect him as a senior.'
He noted, 'I don't think it's right for me to be above (producer Park Jin-Young) just for a moment. I think it rose because many people viewed it at a good time.' He expressed gratitude by saying, 'I think it's a sign that people recognize me as actor Park Jin-Young. I hope that when I am an actor Park Jin-Young, I will be remembered a lot.'
