Actress Choi Ran and former basketball player Lee Chung-hee are reported to have made significant revenue from real estate investments.
On the 1st, Korea Economy TV reported that Choi Ran and Lee Chung-hee sold their apartment 'Acro Seoul Forest,' which has a transaction price nearing 250 million won per pyeong, for a record price, earning a profit of 15 billion won.
According to the real estate industry and the Supreme Court registry office, Choi Ran and Lee Chung-hee sold one unit of 'Acro Seoul Forest' with a dedicated area of 198 square meters for 18.7 billion won at the end of May. The couple originally purchased the apartment for 3.77 billion won in August 2017, suggesting that they have made a price difference of about 15 billion won in just eight years.
Completed in 2020, 'Acro Seoul Forest' is a high-end mixed-use APT. with a total of 280 units, spanning 7 basement floors to 49 above ground. It boasts a prime location with views of both Seoul Forest and the Han River, making it one of the most prestigious projects in northern Seoul, attracting many celebrities such as actress Jun Ji-hyun, Lee Je-hoon, and the couple Joo Sang-wook and Cha Ye-ryun, as well as SHINee's Taemin.
Notably, this transaction set a new record for the highest price ever for 'Acro Seoul Forest.' It has now been ranked as the most expensive APT. in the country in terms of transaction price per pyeong. In reality, the selling price per 3.3 square meters for the house sold by Choi Ran and Lee Chung-hee was 248.83 million won, narrowly surpassing the previous record price of 247.01 million won per pyeong for 'Nine One Hannam' in Yongsan-gu, where it was the highest price.
Meanwhile, Choi Ran and Lee Chung-hee got married in 1984 and have three children: one son and two daughters.
