Actor Choi Daniel shared an absurd experience of being invited to a multi-level marketing scam during a surprising reunion with his first love.
On the 1st, the MBC Every1 entertainment show "The Great Guide 2" featured cast members discussing marriage and love, during which Choi Daniel revealed special memories with his first love.
Choi Daniel said, "I believe I should get married," adding, "I had a long-standing crush on a female student during middle and high school." He continued, "She was a friend from the next class, and I memorized the phone number written in the attendance sheet to call her directly," and shared, "Summoning my courage, I contacted her before entering high school, and we ended up dating."
However, the youthful first love didn't last long. Choi Daniel recalled, "I was naive and inexperienced in romance back then, and that's why we broke up," adding, "Even after that, I couldn't forget her for over two years, and I often lingered around my house, worried about running into her by chance."
Then, after becoming an adult, he coincidentally reconnected with his first love. He confessed, "She contacted me first, saying it's been a while since we last saw each other, and suddenly suggested we go somewhere together," and shared, "I excitedly let my imagination run wild."
However, the anticipation quickly turned to shock. Choi Daniel expressed disappointment saying, "When I asked where we had arrived, it turned out to be a multi-level marketing event," feeling dejected. In response, Park Myung-soo exclaimed, "I can't believe it was real!" Choi Daniel added, "In the end, I said, 'Let's eat next time,' and left, but I never saw her again after that," expressing his regret.
The amusing yet bittersweet end of his first love ultimately conveyed a delightful twist of a "multi-level marketing ending" on air.
