The veil has been lifted one more layer on AKMU member Lee Chan-hyuk's second solo studio album, [EROS]. A spoiler video that hints at the tracklist of the new album has been released, further sparking fans' curiosity.
On the 2nd, YG Entertainment unveiled Lee Chan-hyuk's '[EROS] The Chain of Tracklist.' The video begins with a tension-inducing noise effect and captures Lee Chan-hyuk gazing at a necklace inscribed with the tracklist.
The rotating necklace presentation has installed a device that allows viewers to speculate about the song titles and the number of tracks, provoking curiosity. While the album is predicted to contain a total of 9 songs, expectations are rising regarding which song will be the title track.
Since his debut, Lee Chan-hyuk has taken charge of songwriting, composing, and producing. He has released numerous hits through AKMU and his solo albums, establishing himself as a 'trustworthy artist.' A representative from YG noted, "While the previous work [ERROR] explored life through 'my death,' [EROS] tells a story that begins with 'the death of others.' This album will contain a deeper inner narrative and an expanded musical world."
[EROS]'s physical album will richly include behind-the-scenes cuts that convey the story Lee Chan-hyuk wishes to tell and the album production process, comprising approximately 100 pages. Pre-orders started today (2nd), and it will be available in stores nationwide from the comeback date of the 14th, including YG Select, Ktown4u, and Weverse Shop.
AKMU, featuring Lee Chan-hyuk, will hold the '2025 AKMU STANDING CONCERT [악동들]' over three weeks from August 8 to 24, with a total of 9 performances at the Myunghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. As it will be conducted as a standing concert and feature different setlists each week, audiences can expect an engaging experience along with a diverse musical world.
