Lawyer and broadcaster Seo Dong-joo announced a happy new beginning after tying the knot with an executive from Jang Sung-kyu's agency.
On the 1st, Seo Dong-joo uploaded a photo from her wedding along with the words, "Finally, that day has come and gone. It was such a happy day. I sincerely thank everyone who congratulated me. I will do my best to live happily in gratitude to my friends and colleagues who have come from afar."
The uploaded photo shows Seo Dong-joo, a beautiful June bride, smiling brightly. She also expressed her joy of marriage candidly by saying, "Hehe, I'm so happy."
Seo Dong-joo held her wedding on the 29th of last month in a wedding hall in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. Her fiancé is an executive from the planning company associated with broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu. Seo Dong-joo previously revealed on a show, "My husband is gentle and cute like a retriever. We first met in a gathering with acquaintances and naturally started contacting each other after meeting several times. He liked me first."
The wedding was attended by family members, including her mother Seo Jeong-hee, and friends from the entertainment industry who blessed the couple's future. The couple is known to be starting their newlywed life in a dwelling purchased for 1.2 billion won in a redeveloped area of Chang-dong, Dobong District, Seoul.
Meanwhile, Seo Dong-joo is the daughter of the late Seo Se-won and Seo Jeong-hee. After graduating from the University of San Francisco School of Law, she passed the U.S. bar exam in 2019. After working at a U.S. law firm, she has been communicating with the public through domestic broadcasting activities since 2021.
