In 'Our Movie,' Jeon Yeo-bin is fully immersing herself in the film director Nam Goong-min's work.
In the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Our Movie' (directed by Lee Jeong-heum, written by Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung-min, produced by Studio S and Beyond J), aspiring terminally ill actress Lee Da-eum (played by Jeon Yeo-bin) is finding the courage to live her life and love in every word spoken by director Lee Je-ha (played by Nam Goong-min).
Lee Da-eum's interest in Lee Je-ha started five years ago when she unexpectedly passed the first audition to play the lead role in Lee Je-ha's debut work, 'Cleaning.' Although she regrettably did not proceed to the second audition, Lee Da-eum long remembered Lee Je-ha's name, which recognized her potential.
Thus, five years later, when she saw the synopsis for 'White Love' attributed to Lee Je-ha, she couldn't help but become attached to the film. Lee Je-ha seemed like someone who would cast her in the lead role despite her life's handicap of being terminally ill. Lee Da-eum made her mark as both a terminally ill consultant and a rookie actress who applied for the audition, and Lee Je-ha willingly cast her in his film.
Particularly, Lee Je-ha showed his meticulous side by providing various support for the newly leading actress, Lee Da-eum. He shared secrets with her and took care of her meals and medication times, and respecting Lee Da-eum's desire not to return to the hospital, offered her his old house. His kindness in leaving her favorite snacks, such as grape juice, at her doorstep brought a smile to Lee Da-eum's face.
Especially, when Lee Da-eum used the excuse of a kiss scene in the script to kiss him, rather than pushing her away, Lee Je-ha reciprocated, making everyone's hearts flutter. The wet gaze of Lee Je-ha, who jumped into the rain overcoming fear, was enough to ignite a spark in Lee Da-eum's heart.
Above all, the female lead in the film 'White Love' is in a situation much like Lee Da-eum, facing the end of life. As Lee Da-eum unfolded the emotional journey of the characters created by Lee Je-ha, she soon discovered similarities between herself, the female lead, and the male lead along with Lee Je-ha. Just as the female lead caused a shift in the heart of the male lead, who does not believe in love, Lee Da-eum also wants to teach Lee Je-ha about love.
However, the handicap of a predetermined end to life made even the brave and strong Lee Da-eum hesitate. Faced with the inevitable approach of death, Lee Da-eum found that she could not be free in any aspect: dreams, life, or love. Lee Je-ha was also the one who instilled courage in her to confess. His words, "Lee Da-eum is someone who can do anything," eventually encouraged Lee Da-eum's confession and resonated deeply.
Although she heard words of rejection, her feelings toward Lee Je-ha continue to grow vigorously, and Lee Da-eum plans to ignite her will toward life and love even more. It becomes intriguing whether Lee Da-eum's direct advance, feeling intense thrills with every word from Lee Je-ha, can ultimately reach him.
Jeon Yeo-bin's affectionate and brave pure love, which cannot be blocked by any line, can be seen in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Our Movie,' airing at 9:50 p.m. every Friday and Saturday.
