Actress Nicola Peltz (30) has directly refuted claims by some that she is 'controlling' her husband Brooklyn Beckham (26). Amid ongoing reports of conflict with the Beckham family, she expressed a firm stance, stating, "Brooklyn is an adult and a person who can make his own decisions."
Nicola recently shared a photo celebrating her father Nelson Peltz's 83rd birthday with her family on her social media. In the photo, Brooklyn is seen smiling brightly with his father-in-law and in-laws.
The post drew comments questioning, "Isn't the reason Brooklyn did not attend his father David Beckham's 50th birthday because of Nicola?" In response, Nicola indirectly expressed her position by liking a comment from a fan.
One comment stated, "Who says an adult man is being controlled? Brooklyn is an adult and can make his own decisions. Stop blaming everything on women." This strongly emphasized Nicolas's denial of the rumor, stressing that "Brooklyn acted autonomously."
Brooklyn actually visited the Peltz mansion in Bedford, New York, to spend time with family for Nelson Peltz's birthday. He also left a short yet heartfelt message on social media saying, "Happy birthday, Nelson. I love you."
On the other hand, Brooklyn has remained silent on social media regarding not only David Beckham's birthday but also his mother Victoria Beckham's birthday. He notably did not attend family events, including a birthday party organized by the Beckham family in the Cotswolds, a trip to France, and dining at a high-end restaurant in London.
A source reported, "Brooklyn has communicated his intention to cut ties with the family," to which Brooklyn's side refuted, saying, "This is not true. Rather, this is a time to focus on celebrating his father David's knighthood."
