A large-scale trot newcomer recognized by Kim Yong-bin of 'Love Call Center - Seven Stars' is making an appearance.
The 10th episode of TV CHOSUN's 'Love Call Center - Seven Stars' (hereafter 'Call Center Seven'), airing on July 3, will be themed 'Idol Special.' The TOP6 members are set to stimulate viewers' fan DNA with a performance that blurs the lines between trot and K-pop.
On this broadcast, a 'super ballader' who thrived during the golden age of K-pop will make a surprise appearance, launching into the trot scene. He is expected to show extreme tension while aiming for the stage that comes with a 'Mr. Trot' master preliminary ticket.
He has chosen the challenging song 'Mushiro' by Nah Hoon-a, showcasing an original singing style that transcends traditional trot and ballad, overwhelming the studio. It has been reported that the scene was buzzing with the emergence of a large-scale newcomer who could be seen as a successor, not even four months after the reigning champion Kim Yong-bin of 'Mr. Trot 3' donned his crown.
After his performance, Kim Yong-bin commented, 'It seems he knows the taste of trot,' lending support to his entry into the trot scene. Other members also exclaimed, 'You should make trot your main genre,' and 'Your sense of rhythm is incredible.' The identity of the ballader who showcased a surprising performance will be revealed in the main broadcast.
Meanwhile, 'Love Call Center - Seven Stars' is accepting stories and song requests via phone at 02-6901-7777 and through its website. Once stories are submitted, a super event will unfold. The TV CHOSUN 'Love Call Center - Seven Stars,' set to fill living rooms with fragrance and heat, will air on Thursday, July 3, at 10 p.m.
