A 'yes-man' who cannot refuse has appeared.
On June 30, a shocking story from the participants was revealed during the MBN 30th anniversary national consolation project 'Oh Eun-young Stay.'
The 'yes-man' said, "I can't refuse very well," and explained, "I lent money to my friends and also guaranteed loans. I wonder if I'm normal."
The 'yes-man' said, "Because I couldn't refuse during my school days, I even dated someone for two years. I really enjoyed being together, so I didn't want to break off the relationship. I realized it wasn't love, but I couldn't say let's break up. I thought, 'Should I get married like this?'" This shocked everyone. He naturally broke up after getting a job and entering a long-distance relationship.
The 'yes-man' confessed, "In my late 20s, I had no money and was in debt. I lent all my savings to a friend, about 3 million won. I had no money to spend, so I borrowed from a lending service where it was easy to get a loan. The interest reached thousands of won."
The 'yes-man' revealed, "I can't ask for money. I contact them pretending to ask how they are. I hate conflicts too much. Even if I suffer a loss, as long as there is peace, it's fine. I'm very worried about how I can change this."
Oh Eun-young asked, "The most important thing is why you can't refuse. Does not refusing and accommodating unreasonable requests ultimately maintain a good relationship?" The 'yes-man' replied that it did not. He continued, "Since I was small from a young age, I was the first. It was the same during middle school. I attended all-boys schools, and this was my way of surviving. When I'm anxious, I touch my ears. A friend hung onto my ears, and my ears got injured. At that time, it hurt a lot, but I couldn't show it to my friend. People around called me a pushover."
Oh Eun-young advised, "You must acknowledge problems beyond your capabilities. It's arrogant to take on everything. This does not mean you are incompetent. Everyone has limits that they cannot handle."
