Actress Scarlett Johansson shared her thoughts on participating in "Jurassic World."
On the 1st, a press conference for the film "Jurassic World: New Beginning" (directed by Gareth Edwards, written by David Koepp, distributed by Universal Pictures) was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul.
This summer's must-see film, "Jurassic World: New Beginning," follows 'Jora' (Scarlett Johansson) and 'Dr. Henry' (Jonathan Bailey) as they enter the world's most dangerous island housing the secret laboratory of the past Jurassic Park to save humanity and discover shocking truths that have been hidden, all while facing the threat of dinosaurs. It is set to be released in theaters nationwide on July 2.
In particular, this event marked the first time the director and main cast attended a press conference in Korea, with Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, and director Gareth Edwards in attendance.
'Jora' portrayed by Scarlett Johansson said, "I feel really lucky. After reading the script written by the director, I could understand it, and I consider it a great honor anyway. I was so happy and honored to be part of the Jurassic universe."
She continued, "I knew that the producer and director Steven were discussing the project, but I also kept thinking about the character 'Jora.' I wanted the character Jora to feel as vivid as a real person. I didn't expect that everyone would openly discuss the character, but the production team asked me a lot about how I viewed the character and my thoughts. It was a very productive conversation."
She expressed curiosity about how it would turn out, recalling, "A few weeks later, David gave me the revised script, which reflected all of our suggestions. They listened to and respected my opinions and added to them. Seeing this, I thought my dream had become a reality on every level. It's like a dream that I could influence such an unexpected project, and I'm still trying to take it in. My childhood dream has come true."
