Actress Lee Yoon-mi faced a sudden incident while traveling in Jeju Island with her husband, Joo Young-hoon. By revealing the emergency center access card, Lee Yoon-mi shocked many and received comfort from fans as she shared the lengthy ordeal of that day.
On the 30th of last month, Lee Yoon-mi posted on her social media account story, "A long, long day. Now I'm going to sleep too. I'll tell you the detailed story tomorrow," along with the location of the "Seogwipo Medical Emergency Room."
A day later, Lee Yoon-mi shared the details of the long day. She revealed her husband Joo Young-hoon's image in an ambulance, stating, "I couldn't walk because of abdominal pain, so we took a 119 ambulance," and, "After receiving IV fluids, he felt a bit better and came out. (He looked very haggard). At that point, I thought it was just a stomach cramp. Taking care of his safe return home."
However, he was taken back to the emergency room due to chills and a high fever starting at 1 a.m., and underwent tests along with a CT scan. As Lee Yoon-mi became his guardian again, she mentioned, "I'm recording this while waking up. Thank you all for your concern."
After the CT scan, Lee Yoon-mi said, "They say the youngest son of Yoon-mi's family is fine, but I was told to sit and wait, and I can't relax. He had a fever in the early morning and took two children's medications. From now on, I must also prepare adult medicine. Anyway, let's wait for the results."
This trip had garnered high expectations as they planned a domestic vacation with the kids and had laid out a meticulous schedule. However, due to Joo Young-hoon's emergency situation, the plans fell through, and Lee Yoon-mi expressed, "This will be an unforgettable trip to Jeju."
Ultimately, Joo Young-hoon underwent emergency surgery. Watching him enter the operating room, Lee Yoon-mi said, "Be brave and have a good surgery," adding, "This trip would have been memorable enough even without all this.
