World Dice Tour (hereinafter referred to as 'World Dice Tour 3'), which concluded on the 28th after its 15-episode journey. It provided laughter and emotion in every episode, bringing attention with the synergy of 'Gwak Bawon' and travel partners who enjoy the world like a theme park, and the special broadcast 'Director's Cut' has been confirmed to soothe the regret of its conclusion. This special broadcast is scheduled to air on Saturday, July 5. Ahead of this, Producer Kim Hoon-beom and 'Gwak Bawon' shared their sincere thoughts on the conclusion after completing the five-round journey, drawing attention.
Producer Kim Hoon-beom expressed gratitude, saying, "It was a long journey of about a year, but I am thankful that we could finish safely without any major accidents. Above all, I sincerely thank all the staff, cast, and viewers who have been with us on this journey."
Looking back at season 3, he picked the meeting between Wonji and Kim Jong-min as the most memorable moment. Producer Kim said, "Wonji had mentioned many times that she wanted to meet Kim Jong-min for a long time, and when that wish came true, I felt delighted as well," adding, "Wonji's reaction was so remarkable that I wondered if a person could break down like that, and the scene where we sang 'Our Dream' together on the boat in Mallorca, Spain, was truly the climax of emotion." He also noted that the changes during the studio recording were impressive. "As the seasons went on, Noh Hong-chul and Joo Woo-jae got closer to 'Gwak Bawon.' So, I felt a sense of vicarious satisfaction as I watched."
On the other hand, the most challenging filming was the Brazil 'Crazy World' episode, which Pani Bottle and Shin Seung-ho attempted. Producer Kim Hoon-beom stated, "Brazil is really large, and the travel routes were not easy, so we had to go through a lot," but added, "Thanks to the determination of Pani Bottle and Shin Seung-ho, beautiful scenery and thrilling moments were created." He also noted, "You collect five stickers to escape 'Crazy World,' but I didn't expect to collect twelve while giving up the freedom to travel." The filming in Egypt's Marsa Matruh, where Gwak Tube and Lee Jang-woo went together, was also not easy. "I thought it would be a resort renowned for its rich seafood, but when we arrived, it was an empty town with not a single open shop due to the off-season. I panicked, but Lee Jang-woo turned the mood around with the words, 'I'll cook,'" sharing the story that "most importantly, the food was surprisingly delicious."
Lastly, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to 'Gwak Bawon,' who completed season 3 together. "They are busier than anyone but did their best every moment, allowing season 3 to be completed," he said, adding, "Even during filming, I felt the genuine affection for 'World Dice Tour,' which I was thankful for." He also added, "I hope everyone stays healthy, and while the journey of 'World Dice Tour 3' has ended, I wish for safe travels in each of your content moving forward."
'Gwak Bawon' also left a final message. Pani Bottle said, "Thanks to everyone who consistently loved us from season 1 to 3, we were able to come this far. If I had been alone, I wouldn't have been able to go to these places. There are only good memories left," and vowed, "I will return with a more exciting journey." Wonji expressed, "This season felt like playing on a blockbuster scale across the world. It was more fun than reality and, above all, I am thankful to have completed it healthily," adding, "I feel like I am growing with 'World Dice Tour.' I will continue to provide vicarious satisfaction with enjoyable travels." Gwak Tube commented, "Thanks to the expanded scale of the 'theme park,' I was able to visit various countries. I especially want to say thank you to Lee Jang-woo, Lee Joon, and Gabee, who believed in me and accompanied me during the travel period. I feel a mix of emotions, but I believe I made the right decision to do this program thanks to the viewers who watched with enjoyment."
