Former Girl's Day actress Hyeri (Lee Hyeri) is caught up in dating rumors with dancer Woo Tae, while her agency has stated 'confirmation unavailable,' creating an atmosphere that effectively acknowledges the rumors.
On the 1st, Hyeri's agency, Sublime, stated to OSEN, "We cannot confirm anything regarding Hyeri's dating rumors as it is the actress's private life." Typically, instead of outright denying dating rumors with a claim of 'completely unfounded,' the stance of 'confirmation unavailable' is often interpreted in the industry as an effective acknowledgment.
When OSEN requested further confirmation, a representative said, "At this point, this is all we can share. Please understand," and refrained from further comments.
The dating rumors between Hyeri and Woo Tae surfaced through a media report earlier that morning. The report cited an entertainment industry insider who stated, "The two have been cautiously dating for over a year."
The two are reported to have connected through the film "Victory." Hyeri appeared as the lead, while Woo Tae was involved with choreography for the project and taught the actors how to dance.
"Victory" production officials also expressed surprise to OSEN, saying, "Woo Tae is indeed the hip-hop dancer who guided choreography in the film. However, this is the first I've heard about the dating rumors with Hyeri."
Hyeri debuted in 2010 as a member of the girl group Girl's Day before transitioning into acting, establishing herself as an actress through "Reply 1988." Since then, she has been active in dramas like "Friendly Rivalry" and is currently on a fan meeting tour across 10 cities in Asia.
Woo Tae is a hip-hop BASS dancer who gained public attention through Mnet's *'Street Man Fighter'* in 2022. He was selected as a final member of the Ambitious team at that time.
Meanwhile, Hyeri previously maintained a public relationship with actor Ryu Jun Yeol for seven years until their breakup in November 2023. Both parties stated at the time, "The breakup is true, but we cannot disclose the timing and reason as it is a private matter." Earlier, in 2013, she attracted attention for dating Tony An from the popular '90s group H.O.T., overcoming a 16-year age difference.
