The band FT Island has announced their upcoming solo concert in August, and Min-hwan Choi will also make his official return through this performance.
FT Island will hold the 2025 FTISLAND LIVE 'MAD HAPPY' on August 23-24 at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Seoul, where they will meet with fans.
'MAD HAPPY' expresses the feeling of being 'madly happy' in an intuitive and honest way, signifying that the moments spent enjoying on stage with the audience are when FT Island feels the truest happiness.
The poster released alongside features a smile logo created with the group name FTISLAND, which catches the eye. Additionally, using yellow as the main color creates a vibrant and energetic atmosphere, raising expectations for the performance.
After meeting domestic fans about a year since the 2024 FTISLAND LIVE 'PULSE' held in June last year, FT Island plans to captivate the audience with their unparalleled vocal ability and seasoned stage manner.
Previously, Min-hwan Choi suspended his activities due to revelations made by his ex-wife, Yul-hee, in October last year. Consequently, he faced allegations under the Act on the Punishment of Procuring Prostitution and charges of sexual assault; however, in February, the Gangnam Police in Seoul concluded the case with a determination of no suspicion due to insufficient evidence, leading to a decision not to forward the case to the prosecution. Although Min-hwan Choi had to temporarily halt his domestic activities due to the controversy, he is now officially announcing his return through this concert.
Meanwhile, tickets for FT Island's 'MAD HAPPY' can be reserved through NOL Ticket. Pre-sale for Weverse membership subscribers will begin at 8 p.m. on July 3, with general ticket sales starting at 8 p.m. on July 9.
