[OSE Seon-mi-kyung] Singer Hwang Ga-ram actively promoted his hometown, Okcheon County in Chungcheongbuk-do, through 'Live Information.'
On the 30th at 6:35 p.m., 'Live Information' aired on KBS 2TV, during which Hwang Ga-ram showcased his talents in the 'A Trusted Place for Stars' segment.
First, Hwang Ga-ram noted, "These days, I am receiving love through 'I Am a Firefly.' We also hold a firefly festival in Okcheon," and he visited the birthplace of poet Jeong Ji-yong, smiling as he said, "I want to create music in a place like this. I usually travel a lot for inspiration."
Next, Hwang Ga-ram visited a private garden located by Daechung Lake, recommending it by stating, "Nature is this beautiful and provides us with great comfort and solace. It seems to connect with the meaning discussed in the song 'I Am a Firefly.'"
Meanwhile, citizens who recognized Hwang Ga-ram exclaimed, "I want to hear you sing," "I came here while listening to 'I Am a Firefly,' and it gives me chills," and "I cried while watching 'You Quiz' before coming here," showcasing Hwang Ga-ram's popularity.
Hwang Ga-ram also performed 'I Am a Firefly' live for the citizens on the spot. He then expressed his wish to provide comfort to people with the songs set to be released in the future in a small chapel, which he described as "my most favorite place," bringing warmth.
Recently, Hwang Ga-ram solidified his position as a leading balladeer by winning in the ballad institutional sector at the 34th Seoul Music Awards.
