The theme song 'Til My Fingers Bleed' of the '2025 Esport World Cup,' featuring SEVENTEEN member Dino, was released today (30th).
'Til My Fingers Bleed' is a track that creates a thrilling atmosphere with a heavy beat and powerful band sound. The sophisticated vocal tone of Dino melds with the fluid rap of American hip-hop artist Duckwrth and the sharp high notes of The Word Alive vocalist Telle Smith to complete an energetic piece of music.
Dino will take the stage with Duckwrth and The Word Alive at the opening ceremony of 'EWC', held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the 10th (local time), to showcase a live performance of this song. In particular, Dino became the first K-pop artist to sing the theme song of 'EWC' and will also be the first to perform on the opening ceremony stage, underscoring his high global status.
Dino remarked through his agency, Pledis Entertainment, "I was impressed from the moment I first heard the song. I tried to find my attractive tone that fits the music, expressing a strong atmosphere while incorporating a color unique to me," adding, "I will be performing for the first time at the 'EWC' opening ceremony, and I am really looking forward to the atmosphere of the venue and the energy of the audience."
Dino has demonstrated his presence through his outstanding dance skills, as well as his musical talents that shift between singing, rapping, songwriting, and composing. In 2023, he released his first solo mixtape 'Wait', where he showcased the qualities of a solo artist with an aura that combines softness and intensity. This track topped the iTunes song charts in 22 countries/regions shortly after its release.
'EWC' is the largest scale esports event in the world, boasting explosive popularity with 2.6 million visitors and over 500 million online viewers last year. This year's 'EWC' will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from the 7th to August 24th, with a total prize pool exceeding $70 million, the highest level among international esports competitions.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN, to which Dino belongs, continues to enjoy long-term success with their 5th studio album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY.' The album has entered the U.S. Billboard main album chart for three consecutive weeks and achieved the highest ranking for foreign artists in the 'combined album ranking' and 'album ranking' categories of the Japan Oricon's first-half chart (aggregation period: Dec. 9, 2024 - June 8, 2025). The title track 'THUNDER' remains a fixture in the top ranks of major music charts like Melon.
