Actress Jo Hyejeong is returning to drama after three years with 'Yumi's Cells Season 3.'
On the 30th, a representative from her agency BH Entertainment stated to OSEN, "Actress Jo Hyejeong will appear in the new drama 'Yumi's Cells Season 3.'"
The 'Yumi's Cells' series is a cell-stimulating, empathetic romance drama that depicts the ordinary story of Yumi eating, loving, and growing alongside her cells. It is based on a popular webtoon of the same name and is being produced as a TVING original series, with Season 3 in the works. Actress Kim Goeun plays the title role of Yumi, while it has been reported exclusively by OSEN that the 'it' rookie actor Kim Jaewon has been cast as the male lead Sunrok in Season 3.
In the meantime, Jo Hyejeong will appear as the youngest writer Nahee, who admires Kim Yumi (Kim Goeun). In the previous Season 2, the second chapter of Kim Yumi's life as a writer was hinted at. Jo Hyejeong is expected to showcase a warm chemistry with Kim Goeun.
