Actor Hong Ye-ji is making her first challenge on the theater stage through the play 'The Man from Nowhere.'
This play is based on the drama of the same name that aired in 2018, depicting the process of three brothers, who endure the weight of life, and a woman with a rough life healing each other, drawing great empathy.
In the play, actor Hong Ye-ji portrays Ji-an, who, at 21, has come to distrust the world and unexpectedly encounters warmth in a cold life, vividly revealing Ji-an's complicated inner struggles as she is swayed by Dong-hoon's humane side despite her disbelief and cynicism.
Hong Ye-ji, who is drawing attention as a next-generation lead, previously played the role of Yeon-wol in KBS's 'Fantasy Romance,' delivering a remarkable performance, and was recognized for her acting by winning the Best New Actress award at the '2024 KBS Acting Awards.'
In addition, she has confirmed her appearance in the movie 'Internship,' which is scheduled to be released in the second half of the year, expanding her activity areas from dramas and films to now the theater stage.
As actor Hong Ye-ji takes her first step onto the theater stage, there is growing anticipation and interest from the audience about what new emotions she will convey through 'The Man from Nowhere.'
The play 'The Man from Nowhere,' featuring actor Hong Ye-ji, will be performed from Aug. 22, 2025 (Fri) to Sept. 27, 2025 (Sat) at the LG Arts Center Seoul, U+ Stage.
