In the star brand reputation ranking for June 2025 announced by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute on the 29th, BTS ranked first, Lim Young-woong second, and So Ji-sub third.
The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute measured 288,109,312 star brand big data from the 29th of last month to this day and analyzed consumer behavior to measure participation index, media index, communication index, and community index for the star brands. Compared to 272,723,916 star brand big data last May, this is an increase of 5.64%.
The brand reputation index finds that consumers' online habits significantly influence brand consumption. It is an indicator created through brand big data analysis. Star brand reputation analysis allows measuring consumer relationships with star brands, positive and negative evaluations, media interest, consumer interest, and communication volume.
The star brand reputation analysis uses big data reputation algorithms to analyze relationships with consumers, targeting brands ranked high in reputation among entertainers, singers, trot singers, drama actors, movie actors, boy groups, girl groups, and athletes. The detailed indicators of the star brand reputation index included a recommendation index as a weight.
The top 30 in the star brand reputation ranking for June 2025 were analyzed as follows: BTS, Lim Young-woong, So Ji-sub, Son Heung-min, Big Bang, SEVENTEEN, BLACKPINK, Yoo Jae-suk, Son Suk-ku, Psy, Jung Joon-won, aespa, TWICE, SHINee, Lee Jay-hoon, Lee Jung-jae, IVE, Lee Jung-hoo, Kim Jong-kook, Lee Byung-hun, Go Youn-jung, Choo Sung Hoon, Lee Dae-ho, Faker, Cha Eun-woo, Oh My Girl, Red Velvet, Lee Chan-won, Kiki, TOMORROW X TOGETHER.
BTS, which ranked first in star brand reputation (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jung Kook), had a participation index of 583,248, a media index of 2,326,028, a communication index of 3,643,719, and a community index of 4,193,442, resulting in a brand reputation index of 10,746,436. Compared to the brand reputation index of 11,241,355 in May, this represents a decrease of 4.40%.
The brand of Lim Young-woong, ranked second, had a participation index of 698,289, a media index of 1,480,398, a communication index of 2,865,668, and a community index of 2,650,626, resulting in a brand reputation index of 7,694,980. This is a 3.90% decrease compared to the brand reputation index of 8,007,287 in May.
The brand of So Ji-sub, ranked third, had a participation index of 499,502, a media index of 1,361,501, a communication index of 2,341,234, and a community index of 2,343,048, resulting in a brand reputation index of 6,545,285.
The brand of Son Heung-min, ranked fourth, had a participation index of 1,776,753, a media index of 1,529,655, a communication index of 1,766,723, and a community index of 1,411,485, resulting in a brand reputation index of 6,484,616. This is a 51.85% decrease compared to the brand reputation index of 13,468,724 in May.
The brand of Big Bang (G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung), ranked fifth, had a participation index of 162,506, a media index of 1,187,760, a communication index of 2,320,249, and a community index of 2,543,249, resulting in a brand reputation index of 6,213,763. This is a 62.28% increase compared to the brand reputation index of 3,829,150 in May.

The BTS brand earned the top spot by gifting fans with a complete return. The brand of Lim Young-woong held onto second place with its strong fandom power Hero Era. The brand of So Ji-sub, ranked third, gathered global fans through interest in drama. Following in fourth, the brand of Son Heung-min gained heightened interest from soccer fans worldwide due to transfer issues. The brand of Big Bang continues active communication with fans through G-Dragon," he analyzed.
He continued, "Analyzing the star brand big data for June 2025, compared to the star brand big data of 272,723,916 from May, there was a 5.64% increase. Detailed analysis shows a 1.58% decrease in brand consumption, a 0.64% increase in brand issues, a 6.02% increase in brand communication, and a 10.78% increase in brand dissemination."
