Kim Nam-joo said, "Our fountain is 120 years old."
Actor Kim Nam-joo showcased a French fountain that holds 120 years of history, demonstrating what "true class" really is.
On the 29th, in an episode of SBS entertainment program "My Little Old Boy" (hereafter referred to as My Little Old Boy), Kim Nam-joo appeared as a special guest, unveiling her home in Samseong-dong, where she has lived for 20 years, generating significant buzz.
What caught the most attention that day was the antique fountain placed in the middle of the living room. Made in France a hundred years ago, Kim Nam-joo shared a unique story, stating, "Since it has been here for 20 years, it's now 120 years old."
When Seo Jang-hoon asked, "It's not common to have a fountain in your house; how did you bring it in?" Kim Nam-joo explained, "Since my religion is Catholicism, I heard that having a lot of water is good according to feng shui, so I decided to install it." She further revealed her affection for the fountain, noting, "As it's old, it needs to be cleaned regularly."
Kim Nam-joo's house, already known to be 80 pyeong in size, is classic and antiquated throughout. The green gate custom-made by her husband Kim Seung-woo from Italy, her daughter's traditional Korean dress designed by Park Sul-nyeo for her first birthday, and the paintings made by her son—all these elements reflect the family's history and emotions in the space.
Recently, Kim Nam-joo released a garden tour video titled "The Secret Garden of Kim Nam-joo in Samseong-dong" on her YouTube channel. The spacious garden, measuring over 80 pyeong, was filled with flowers and trees that change color each season, harmonizing with its classic appearance and evoking the feeling of a European gallery.
