YouTuber Karacula, who was sentenced to probation for involvement in the Tzuyang extortion case, announced his return after a period of self-reflection. He lowered his head, saying, "Everything is due to my lack of talent," and expressed his intention to continue his channel with animal rescue activities.
On the 27th, Karacula uploaded a new video to his YouTube channel and stated, "I forgot my duty as a clown and disappointed the public, my master. I deeply reflect on this and will take responsibility through actions rather than words going forward."
Earlier, Karacula was implicated in the incident known as the "Tzuyang case." In August of last year, revelations emerged that some content creators formed a group called the "Lecce Union" and demanded money by threatening Tzuyang using her past as a pretext. At the time, Karacula was charged with aiding and abetting extortion and was sentenced in February to one year in prison with a three-year suspension.
After halting his activities and entering a period of self-reflection, he proposed a new direction in this video, stating, "I will start again with an attitude of reflection and responsibility." He announced that he would change his existing channel name to "Karacula Animal Rescue" and continue activities related to rescuing and protecting stray animals.
In particular, he showed a resolute attitude, saying, "Revenue generation is currently halted, and there are no plans to open a sponsorship account. I will take full responsibility for all my past misdeeds and move forward silently."
Lastly, he said, "If I receive another opportunity, I will wholeheartedly create content that helps society," and bowed his head, adding, "I sincerely apologize once again for disappointing you this time."
