'Fresh off the Sea' Dex felt a storm of jealousy towards the youngest Lee Jae-wook in Season 2.
In the 12th episode of 'Fresh off the Sea' aired on the 29th, Yum Jung-ah, Park Joon Myun, Lim Ji-yeon, and Lee Jae-wook were depicted greeting Dex.
That day, after greeting the four siblings, Dex said, "Should I change my clothes?" and went into the room. While receiving everyone's attention, he showed some shyness, and Park Joon Myun said, "He's a bit shy at first but warms up quickly." Yum Jung-ah added, "He's like that only at first."
Lim Ji-yeon and Lee Jae-wook exclaimed, "Wow, it's Dex!" and Yum Jung-ah commented, "So now, the house where the four siblings lived has turned into a house of six siblings," establishing a hierarchy.
Last year, Lim Ji-yeon appeared on Dex's YouTube channel. The two, who say it's their first time meeting, created an awkward atmosphere. Observing this, Lee Jae-wook chuckled and said, "Wow, I can really hear how awkward it is," while Dex asked Yum Jung-ah, "Sister, could you sit here for a while?"
Yum Jung-ah asked, "Didn't you guys get close back then?" and Lim Ji-yeon replied, "I thought we were close." Dex also revealed, "I thought we were close, but just the day before at the Baeksang Arts Awards, I felt a distance," as Yum Jung-ah and Park Joon Myun wondered, "Why did you go?" Dex answered, "I went as a candidate for the entertainment award."
In response, Yum Jung-ah said, "You must have gone for entertainment. Would you have gone for acting?" and Dex answered, "How well did Jae-wook do? Even if my sister helps me, she doesn't even look at me," adding, "It felt like after coming home from the army, there was a new family member. I have no space for myself," expressing his jealousy.
Dex's jealousy continued. While harvesting, Lim Ji-yeon asked, "But didn't you feel nostalgic watching the show?" Dex confessed, "I felt a bit jealous," and pointed to Lee Jae-wook, saying, "That spot was supposed to be mine, that charm was supposed to be mine. I can't help but feel jealous."
Dex even remarked to the mother who praised Lee Jae-wook, "Are you praising Jae-wook right now? Don't discriminate based on looks," adding, "I used to be good-looking back then. It was four years ago that I was in my prime. I'm leaving with scars in my heart, mother," which caused laughter.
In the end, Dex shouted, "Jae-wook, wrap it up. Show us how handsome you are, Jae-wook. It's not that I'm jealous!" adding more laughter.
After finishing the harvest, the sisters returned home. Dex helped next to Yum Jung-ah, who was preparing dinner, and when he witnessed Lim Ji-yeon coming out of the shower and entering her room, he remarked, "Back in my day, I couldn't even enter a room. The world has really changed, huh? Eun-jin and I were always the backup by the door, just staring at Jung-ah."
That day, Dex particularly asked Yum Jung-ah, "Who do you like more among the members of Season 1 and Season 2?" to which Yum Jung-ah replied, "Are you seriously asking that now? I'll send it via text. It's long," and Dex said, "I feel a bit uneasy. I think Season 1 is somewhat lacking compared to Jae-wook."
Dex then asked the same question to Park Joon Myun, who replied, "You," but added humorously, "Why is he acting like that?"
