Visual director and photographer late Lee Hee-cheol has been gone for five months, but he still remains in the hearts of his close friends in the entertainment industry. The friends visited the late Lee's family home and shared heartfelt moments comforting his parents, who were overcome with grief.
On the 27th, Pungja posted several photos on her social media account without any significant text.
In the released photos, Pungja was with Hwangbo, Jea, and Sandara Park, and they were at none other than Lee Hee-cheol's family home. They took photos holding Lee Hee-cheol's dog and reminisced using photos taken by Lee Hee-cheol as a backdrop.
Hwangbo commented, "It was Hwangjesanto (Hwangbo, Jea, Sandara Park, and Pungja), but thanks to Tori, we formed Hwangjesanpung (Hwangbo, Jea, Sandara Park, and Pungja)." Sandara Park also posted, "Always missing Hee-cheol. I will always remember you, my friend. The day I visited with your parents and Candy and Pungwol."
Late Lee Hee-cheol passed away due to a myocardial infarction last January. He was 39 years old.
Lee Hee-cheol's younger sibling said, "Our older brother, who was always full of energy and love, suddenly left for a long journey to the heavenly world after suffering a myocardial infarction on the 7th. He always treasured and prioritized those around him as much as family and seemed strong, but he was softer than anyone else. Please be with him so that his last journey is not a little lonely and is more beautiful."
Lee Hee-cheol even left a New Year's greeting on social media just a week before his death. He said, "The extremely difficult year of 2024. To be honest, it was a really hard year for me, both physically and mentally." He added, "I know well that we learn and grow as much as we suffer, so I believe that I will overcome this humbly and strongly and I will send it off gratefully. I am thankful for this as well."
Regarding the unbelievable news of Lee Hee-cheol's passing, Pungja mourned, "My beloved older brother Lee Hee-cheol has become a star in heaven. Please pray that he can go to a good place." Park Seul-ki remarked, "What is this? I really can't believe it, and that this absurd situation involves my friend. You. This is really too cruel. I hate this reality that I just have to accept now. I will come soon. So you don't feel cold on the way. I'll make sure you're warm so you won't be in pain there."
Yoo Hana expressed her feelings, saying, "For 23 years, we joked around on calls and when we met. Then, we always concluded by saying let's live well, let's live long. Can you please say it's a lie? I won't get mad." Kim Young-hee said, "This is so sudden. My heart hurts even more. I pray for the repose of the deceased's soul."
