The live broadcast of Annie, the daughter of the Shinsegae chairman and a member of the group All Day Project, is attracting attention.
Recently, Annie conducted a live broadcast to interact with fans through social media, and she revealed her cooking in the kitchen. While cooking in a lively atmosphere, a male voice was heard through the intercom saying, 'The chairman is coming in now.'
In this context, Annie continued the live broadcast naturally, and the video later spread on social media and online communities, drawing attention.
Netizens reacted with comments like, 'It's really like a drama,' 'It is indeed a chaebol,' and 'Can we watch this kind of thing on a live broadcast? It feels weird.'
Meanwhile, Annie debuted as a member of the new co-ed group All Day Project under The Black Label on the 23rd. The All Day Project, consisting of five members—Annie, Bailey, Youngseo, Tarzan, and Woochan—released the new songs 'WICKED' and 'FAMOUS.'
In a documentary video released before her debut, Annie revealed that she chose the path of a singer despite her family's opposition. She mentioned a conversation with her mother, Jeong Yu-kyung, the chairman of Shinsegae, saying, 'One day, I casually asked my mom, 'What do you think if I become a singer?' and she just laughed and said, 'That's absurd,' so I thought, 'It can't happen.' Then, 2 or 3 years later, I more seriously set the mood and told her, 'Mom, I really want to be a singer,' and she responded, 'Is that even a reasonable thing?' and said, 'Absolutely NO.' That was my first 'heartbreak' in my life regarding family opposition.
Annie also said, 'Around my second and third years of high school, my family's opposition grew strongest, but because I couldn't give up, my mom made a suggestion. She said she would help persuade the rest of the family if I got into college, so from that point on, I completely gave up sleep and prepared for college entrance exams really hard, and as a result, I was able to get into college.' She added, 'Actually, my mom didn't think I would really get into college. She thought, 'When is a kid who practices all day and goes to dance practice all the time going to study?'
