Actors Kim Ho-young and Cha Ji-yeon candidly revealed the payment structure for musical actors.

On that day, Lee Ji-hye visited Cha Ji-yeon's house with Kim Ho-young. While conversing with them, Lee Ji-hye asked, "Don't musicals take a long preparation period?" and Cha Ji-yeon replied, "About a month and a half to two months." Kim Ho-young said, "Isn't it shorter than you think?" and Lee Ji-hye nodded, saying, "I thought it would be about 3 or 4 months."
In response, Kim Ho-young explained, "Some people set the practice period to three months or six months. Originally, it should only take up to two months if compact." Then Lee Ji-hye mentioned, "Aren't musical actors doing a lot? They sing, dance, and act. Does this match the grants?" Kim Ho-young clarified, "They don't pay it all at once; they split it into three or four payments. That's how it works."
He stated, "Sometimes people ask me, why do I perform when I do a lot of broadcasting and home shopping. I express that the joy it gives is different. The response is immediate. When I do something, I receive applause, cheers, catharsis, and joy. Even though I do the same role in the same scene every day, it's not the same thing. That's what makes it so fun. There are moments when I excel at certain parts. It all aligns. It's because of the joy of those moments that I continue to do this work," expressing his affection for the profession.
