Channel A will first present the new concept knowledge talk show 'The Era of Construction' at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 28.
'The Era of Construction' is a virtual talk show that richly unpacks the hidden history, culture, art, and science stories of 'construction', which creates all the everyday spaces we inhabit, such as our homes, the paths we walk, and the bridges we use daily. It aims to propose a new paradigm of construction, which seemed stiff and difficult, through the question 'Why was it built that way?'
The program will be hosted by the beloved broadcaster Do Kyung-wan, known for his stable hosting ability and friendly image. Particularly, Do Kyung-wan, with a background in engineering, is expected to lead discussions in an easy and entertaining manner from the audience's perspective, based on his unique understanding of the construction field.
Following this, pop columnist Kim Tae-hoon and construction technology expert Dr. Shin Won-sang will join as fixed panelists, adding expertise and entertainment. Kim Tae-hoon will share interesting behind-the-scenes stories related to construction from his unique humanistic perspective, while Dr. Shin Won-sang will guide viewers deeply into the world of construction technology from a professional standpoint, anchoring the program.
'The Era of Construction' will showcase rich stories with a variety of guests in each episode. Beginning with actor Baek Seong-hyun, who has an unusual background in the construction industry, the show will also feature legends of Korean rock Kim Jong-seo, emotional vocalist Byeol, YouTuber and astronomer Dr. Kang Seong-joo, and the 'excavator idol' WJSN Da-young, as personalities from various walks of life reveal unexpected connections with construction, providing fresh entertainment.
