Voice actor turned broadcaster Seo Yu-ri revealed her honest feelings about broadcasting activities.
On the 25th, Seo Yu-ri posted a lengthy message on her social account.
She said, "Making entertainment fun is the destiny of the guest, and leaving an impact equivalent to the appearance fee is the responsibility of the actor. As a result, there are many moments when it becomes a sensational keyword, so-called 'media bait.' Moreover, because broadcasting involves editing, not everything I say gets aired and misunderstandings often arise."
She continued, "Honestly, I think I have fulfilled my responsibilities. As long as the broadcasting is entertaining, that's all that matters. But the problem comes next. After the broadcast, unintended misunderstandings arise, and people around me, not me, get hurt. Then I wonder, is this really right? Am I doing well? Sometimes I ask myself."
She added, "I have become accustomed to my words being misrepresented, and unspoken words being highlighted in articles as if I said them. But I still really dislike that it causes hurt to those around me. I am the only one who should be accustomed to it. In fact, that's the most heartbreaking part. Is it really time for me to put a period on this?"
Meanwhile, Seo Yu-ri reported her marriage to Director Choi Byeong-gil in 2019 and became a legal couple, but divorced last March. However, after sitting on a pile of debt post-divorce, she appeared on 'Excel Broadcasting' citing financial difficulties and ended up facing negative public opinion, ultimately leaving the Excel broadcast last month.
