On this day, Lala confessed that she dreamed of becoming a musical actress before becoming a YouTuber. She said, "I asked to be allowed to act since middle school, but I wasn't allowed to do so.
She continued, "I never had my gas cut off. But I lived in a semi-basement, and when I came home, cockroaches scurried all over! I laid down some pesticide, and when I came out, there were cockroaches everywhere. They followed me whenever I moved."
Lala shared, "My mother always ran a piano class. It should be a bigger classroom, right? I hated that so much. The house was so small, yet my mother made a living from it, and all the pianos were second-hand. Looking back, it was at the level of a shabby music academy, but since it was better than my house, I wanted to live there and sleep there."
On the other hand, Lala's mother noted, "Things were really tough back then. When we lived underground, water would suddenly come in, and the piano legs would fill with water. Lala was very deep-minded. She wasn't the type to show when she wanted something. It hurt me to see that."
Lala, who did many part-time jobs to make ends meet, said that even though she performed in musicals, she had to quit because she didn't receive proper payments. She explained, "It was too hard to keep going. If I could sustain myself without receiving payments, it would have been different, but I was already doing 3 to 4 part-time jobs, so realistically, I thought, 'I can't do this' and gave up to return to the company."
Having been unable to give up her dream, Lala said she couldn't hold onto other jobs for long, mentioning, "Even while doing part-time work, I kept singing and got stopped. I did various jobs including working in a meat restaurant since middle school, working overnight at factories, secretarial work, and interpreting."
Among her various part-time jobs, Lala worked for more than three years at a wedding hall, stating, "I did everything I could. If someone suddenly backed out, I would jump in, start singing, and did various jobs at wedding halls across the country." She added that because she performed so well, she even received job offers as a wedding planner.
Lala mentioned, "Since she sold a lot of 화과자 (traditional Korean sweets) nationwide, there hasn't been such sales until now. On weekends, we sold 3,500 each. They said such numbers couldn't exist." She recalled, "Yoo Jae-suk also came to the ceremony at that time. I was stopped then too. It's not a market; the ones who want to exchange will do so."
In particular, Lala attracted attention by confessing that while she made a fortune as Lee Myung-hwa, she nevertheless suffered losses due to a popup store.
Lala explained, "Since I had never run a business, when I ordered merchandise, I was told that once I order, I can't make it again. I had to determine the quantity of goods to sell over two weeks, but I couldn't estimate how much to produce. I had no agency or company to seek advice from, so I calculated the number of customers visiting the department store per day multiplied by two weeks."
When surprised Yoo Jae-suk and Cho Sae-ho asked, "How much was the total volume?" she replied, "I can't tell you that, but I lost all the money I earned over six years. I really need to earn money for diapers." She lamented, "As I ended up making various things, it turned into 50 types. I multiplied that by two weeks in Seoul and Busan."
She continued, "I had so much leftover stock that I was going to dispose of it, but it costs double that money. So, I stored it in a warehouse in Ilsan. The storage costs are also going out. I'm in the negative even with all the money I've earned so far," she said, adding, "I hope my appearance fee comes quickly today. Things are really tough. I even brought my mother early in the morning."
