'Real Deal' is said to be the first song Jang Yun-jeong debuted as a composer. Lalala explained, "I wrote the lyrics and composed it all myself. Originally, I was given two songs. But I said I liked 'Real Deal,' so I released that one first, and when people asked for more songs, I released 'You're Being Too Much.'"
Meanwhile, Yoo Jae-suk asked, "I heard your original dream was to be a musical actor?" Lalala replied, "I asked to be allowed to act from middle school, but they didn't let me. My mom was struggling and said I should work part-time, and I secretly took the entrance exam for an arts high school but failed every time I tried."
In a subsequent interview, he recalled, "I never experienced gas being cut off. But I lived in a semi-basement, and when I came home, cockroaches would scuttle around! I'd lay out poison, and when I came back, it would be full of cockroaches. They followed me every time I moved."
Lalala said, "My mom always operated a piano. Shouldn't the teaching studio be larger? I really disliked that. The house was this small, but my mom sustained our living with it, and all the pianos were second-hand. Looking back, it was at a shabby tutoring school level, but I wanted to live there as it was better than our home and wanted to sleep there."
Lalala's mother said, "At that time, it was really harsh. When we lived underground, water would come in, and the piano legs were filled with water; we experienced those things."
His mother then tearfully noted, "Lalala was very deep. He wasn't a child who showed that he wanted something. It broke my heart to see him like that."
