Aesoon from the reality version of 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' appears in SBS's 'Wow! Really? Is This True?' and brings the four MCs and broadcaster Hyun-young to tears.
In the 5th episode of SBS's 'Wow! Really? Is This True?', airing at 9 p.m. tonight, there will be a 'Time Travel Special' with stories titled 'Why is Vice Administrator Ko like this?', 'I Wear Y2K Every Day', and 'Aesoon's Diary', capturing the emotional moments of the four MCs and guest Hyun-young as they react to the story of a 'real-life Aesoon' who has been documenting her life in a diary for over 60 years.
On this day, Baek Ji-young noted, 'I will share the story of someone who has meticulously recorded the four seasons of life,' announcing the start of the segment 'Aesoon's Diary'. Immediately afterward, a storyteller, introducing herself as '85-year-old Seo Bo-myung from Gyeongnam's Goseong County', presents her 77 volumes of diaries, kept for over 63 years, stating, 'I started writing when I married at the age of 23, so I have been writing for 63 years.' In response, Jun Hyun-moo expresses genuine admiration, saying, 'It's history, history!'
Following this, while reading her diary, Seo Bo-myung reflects, 'People around me said I could have become a writer if I were young, but I didn't think like that back in the day. Nowadays, I would have explored many choices,' sharing the pains of those times. Baek Ji-young resonates deeply, mentioning that Seo Bo-myung's life resembles that of Aesoon in the drama 'When Life Gives You Tangerines', stating, 'It feels like a parallel theory with Aesoon.' Eventually, Hyun-young, in tears, utters, 'You must have had so many wounds,' causing the studio to turn into a sea of tears.
Amid growing curiosity about the hidden stories of Seo Bo-myung, Jun Hyun-moo remarked, 'The phrase 'I always feel bored' from my mother's diary struck me deeply,' adding, 'My mother also lives under the same sky in Seoul...' expressing a sense of guilt for not visiting often. Hyun-young then interjected with, 'After raising her, she goes out and only focuses on her own life without keeping in touch,' while Baek Ji-young bluntly stated, 'If she got married, that would be understandable, but not contacting us while not being married is just wrong.' Jun Hyun-moo responded by sweating nervously, saying, 'It really feels like my mom is here in the studio,' leading to a chaotic but humorous atmosphere.
