In the 26th episode of 'I am SOLO,' Hyun-sook expressed her burden towards Gwang-soo but surprised everyone with her final choice.
On the broadcast aired on the 25th, ENA and SBS Plus depicted the long-awaited final selection of the 26th season.
After finishing her date with Gwang-soo and returning to the accommodation, Hyun-sook confessed to Ok-soon, "I think there has been a rise in my affection." When Ok-soon remarked, "There is no one who takes care of you so delicately," Hyun-sook said, "I've never changed my mind about someone being nice to me in my life, but I had the expectation that it could be different. It was amazing that it actually changed."
Above all, Hyun-sook noted, "Since so many angles are coming in, I feel like one area can be penetrated. Maybe that's why I am seriously considering choosing Gwang-soo for my final selection." Defconn, who saw this, asked, "What kind of person is Hyun-sook?" Ok-soon expressed curiosity, saying, "It's still a really happy concern, and it's like she has been working hard on I am SOLO, so I'm looking forward to Hyun-sook's choice."
However, during a subsequent drinking session, Hyun-sook felt burdened when Gwang-soo, who was sitting next to her, tried to take care of her. Hyun-sook, also showing remorse, explained, "At first, Gwang-soo felt like a friend to me, but now it feels like something romantic. Gwang-soo stayed close to Hyun-sook until dawn, persisting in forcing the final choice, and left the room. The much-anticipated final selection time arrived. Sang-cheol and Jung-sook became the final couple, while Yeong-ja, Ok-soon, Yeong-cheol, Kyung-soo, Yeong-ho, Soon-ja, Yeong-soo, Yeong-sook, and Yeong-sik chose to forfeit their final selection. Then it was Gwang-soo's turn. He said, "I will definitely make a final selection," and ran towards Hyun-sook.
In a surprising twist, Hyun-sook chose Gwang-soo, defying everyone's expectations. Defconn expressed astonishment, saying, "Are you serious? Why is it surprising?" and added, "There is a world I don't know about." Lee Yi-kyung also remarked, "Wow, it worked out!"
In an interview, Hyun-sook revealed, "I fell for Gwang-soo. Is it hard to believe? I think I might have become desensitized from doing it too repeatedly, or maybe it feels like a brainwashing, or it could be that I am more comfortable with it now."
