On the 26th, according to the Japan Record Association, one of the double title tracks from SEVENTEEN's mini album 10, 'FML', titled 'SONOKONG', surpassed 100 million cumulative plays on local music platforms as of May.
As a result, SEVENTEEN received its second 'Platinum' certification from the Japan Record Association. Last September, 'Pretty U' became their first 'Platinum' song. The Japan Record Association awards monthly streaming certifications categorized as Gold (over 50 million plays), Platinum (over 100 million plays), and Diamond (over 500 million plays).

'SONOKONG' is a song that expresses SEVENTEEN's journey of growth through trials and frustrations, likening it to the character SONOKONG. This track proved its 'long-running popularity' by being included in the Billboard 'Global 200' for 12 weeks upon its release in 2023 and surpassing 200 million cumulative streams on the world's largest music platform, Spotify, last year.
The mini album 10 of SEVENTEEN, 'FML', which includes 'SONOKONG', achieved nearly 4 million sales on its release day and surpassed 6.2 million sales in about two months, setting a record for the highest sales of a single K-pop album.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN achieved remarkable success with its 5th studio album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY', recording first-week sales of 2.52 million copies, the highest number for any K-pop album released this year. Additionally, this album entered the Billboard 200 chart at its own best ranking of 2, remaining on the chart for three consecutive weeks.
