Actor Jeong Jun-won expressed his feelings after being cast in 'Resident Playbook.'
On the 25th, a video titled 'Sung Si-kyung's meeting l Jeong Jun-won, we decided to call each other older brother and younger brother from today~' was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Sung Si-kyung.'
Sung Si-kyung asked, 'This project is a great opportunity that has completely put you on the right track. How do you feel about it?' Jeong Jun-won said, 'I've just been doing the same thing little by little, and oh, it's my first time playing such a focused role, so I feel really amazed and grateful.'
Jeong Jun-won had auditioned for the 'Hospital Playlist' series but unfortunately did not get cast. However, this time, he showcased a passionate performance as Goo Do-won in 'Resident Playbook,' creating a Goo Do-won syndrome.
Regarding this, Jeong Jun-won opened up, saying, 'When I was auditioning, I didn't think I would be given that role. Usually, for auditions, you have to read scripts with a lot of lines, so I thought it would be for the leading actor.'
He continued, 'It seemed like a really important role, so every time I went to the second and third rounds, they kept making me do that, and I thought, 'Oh? Are they going to let me play this?' I held on to hope, and when I got cast, I was so incredibly happy, it felt like I was going to fly. I kept having a craving for it. I hoped many people would watch my work.'
