The 26th season of 'I Am SOLO' Sangcheol rejected Youngja's feelings.
In the episode broadcast on the 25th, ENA and SBS Plus 'I Am SOLO' portrayed a group date with 26th season Sangcheol, Jeongsuk, and Youngja ahead of the final selection.
During the date, Sangcheol, while contemplating between Jeongsuk and Youngja, indirectly revealed that he decided on Jeongsuk, saying, "I felt a blow to the head from the chief's words that the time to get to know each other is over."
Following a one-on-one conversation, Jeongsuk expressed her disappointment to Sangcheol, who had talked with Youngja after their super date. She said, "We had such a long date already, so what more do we have to talk about? It felt bad that he came to me to talk. I was feeling upset about that."
Sangcheol ultimately revealed that he chose Jeongsuk, and upon hearing this, Jeongsuk smiled in relief. In an interview, she said, "It was just uncomfortable; I had already mentioned how I felt, but Sangcheol talked to me first. I didn't think too anxiously about it, and I believed 90%, but I feel happy that my anxiety and discomfort have been cleared up."
On the other hand, Sangcheol admitted during his conversation with Youngja, "I feel heavy right now. There was someone who filled my heart, and it's true that Youngja entered it," but he also expressed, "In my heart, I thought it was Jeongsuk."
Youngja said, "Thank you for speaking honestly. I think we could really become good friends," adding, "I don't wish for you to feel heavy-hearted. Please treat Jeongsuk well moving forward; I will always support you." However, in an interview, she stated, "I have lost my fighting spirit. I used the super date rights and went out on a date, but everything has been decided, and Youngja has struggled. I have no regrets up to hearing this result, as I have been working hard since yesterday and eating lonely dishes."
