Actress Yoon Seo-ah is joining "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty."
The new tvN drama "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty" (directed by Jang Tae-yoo / written by fGRD / planned by Studio Dragon / produced by Film Greeda, Jung Universe) is based on a popular web novel and depicts the fantasy survival romance where a time-slipped French chef meets a gourmet and the worst tyrant of his time, spanning over 500 years.
In the drama, Yoon Seo-ah plays the role of Gyeong-geum, an apprentice palace maid in the Suragan. Gyeong-geum is a character with a sensitive sense of smell capable of finding necessary ingredients by scent alone, and exhibits excellent judgment and keen eyesight, making her a versatile character.
Captivated by the cooking of Yeon Ji-young (played by Im Yoon-a), Gyeong-geum trusts her more than anyone else and embarks on a journey to survive in the unfamiliar land of Joseon. As the plot unfolds, she faces various crises and is expected to reveal her presence as a reliable supporter for Ji-young and a key part of the growth narrative.
Yoon Seo-ah has showcased her versatility in character roles through dramas such as "True Beauty," "Nevertheless," and "The Tale of Lady Ok." Crossing between historical dramas and modern dramas, she has steadily built her acting skills, and this work is anticipated to show a deeper range of her acting.
Meanwhile, the tvN drama "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty," featuring Yoon Seo-ah, will premiere in the second half of 2025.
