Actor Ryu Jun-yeol has signed an exclusive contract with United Artist Agency (UAA).
On the 25th, UAA said, "Actor Ryu Jun-yeol has become a new member of UAA. Ryu Jun-yeol is a unique actor with outstanding acting ability and his own distinct color. We will do our best to support Ryu Jun-yeol so that he can demonstrate his true value as an actor and soar even higher."
Ryu Jun-yeol, who left a powerful presence in the 2015 film "Socialphobia," received explosive love through the tvN drama "Reply 1988," which aired that winter. His deep voice and the ability to convey various emotions in his performances drew acclaim. Since then, Ryu Jun-yeol has actively engaged in diverse genres.
Ryu Jun-yeol rose to stardom as a ten-million-view actor through the film "A Taxi Driver," which attracted 12.18 million viewers, following his film "The King" in 2017. He subsequently established himself as a unique actor in Chungmuro by appearing in numerous works such as "Little Forest," "Battle of Bongodong," "Alien+Human," and "Night Owl." It is noteworthy that he continues to take on new challenges, not limited to a single image or acting style.
As a result, Ryu Jun-yeol swept various rookie awards, including the Best New Actor Award in the film category at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards in 2017.
