The group LE SSERAFIM's fourth Japanese single has topped the Oricon chart.
According to the Oricon chart announced on the 24th, LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) sold 98,898 copies of their fourth Japanese single 'DIFFERENT' on the first day of its release, securing the number one position on the daily single ranking as of the 23rd. LE SSERAFIM shared this news and celebrated with fans at a single release showcase held in Japan on the 24th.
The title track, which shares the same name, entered the Japan iTunes Top Songs chart at number four as of the afternoon of the 24th. It became the first of LE SSERAFIM's original songs to make it onto that chart. The song, which was pre-released on the 9th, entered the world's largest streaming platform Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Japan' at number 69, proving its popularity by appearing on the chart for two consecutive weeks.
'DIFFERENT' carries the meaning of 'living as one's true self shows the differences from others.' In addition to the title track, three songs are included: 'HOT -Japanese ver.-' and 'Kawaii (Prod. Gen Hoshino)'. 'Kawaii (Prod. Gen Hoshino)', produced by Japan's top singer-songwriter Gen Hoshino, features English lyrics by Heo Yunjin and recorded number nine on the Japan iTunes Top Songs chart as of the morning of the 25th.
LE SSERAFIM is currently on their world tour '2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'EASY CRAZY HOT'.
