B1A4 member Shinwoo has been cast in the musical 'Paradise'.
Shinwoo has been selected for the role of Lee Kang in the musical 'Paradise', which will open on July 15 at the Link Art Center Dream 3 Hall in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
'Paradise' is a musical that depicts the story of characters dreaming of different 'paradises' against the backdrop of the most chaotic period from 1945 to 1950, after liberation.
Lee Kang, played by Shinwoo, is an independence activist who dedicated himself to the independence of Joseon but is conflicted between destroyed ideals and reality. He is a character who harbors ambitions of becoming a leading figure of this country and prevails in the fight for independence. Shinwoo is expected to enhance the immersion of the play by portraying the character's narrative multidimensionally.
Shinwoo has performed in musicals such as 'The Goddess is Watching', 'The Three Musketeers', 'Hamlet', and 'Gwangju', and plays in the play 'Brilliant and Brilliant', delicately unfolding the broad emotional changes of each character, receiving acclaim. Recently, he captivated the audience with a strong presence as a special guest in '2025 Fuerza Bruta - Aven'.
Additionally, Shinwoo is also pursuing his main activities as part of B1A4. B1A4, to which Shinwoo belongs, successfully completed their solo concert '2025 B1A4 CONCERT 'Singularity'' in May, followed by a joint performance in Taipei with their agency's junior group ONF in June titled 'B1A4 & ONF CONCERT 'FLY WITH LIGHT' IN TAIPEI'. They are set to hold a fan concert in Hong Kong, 'B1A4 2025 FAN-CON 'Singularity: Our Time' IN HONG KONG' in July. Shinwoo's notable advancements in various fields while firmly establishing himself as an all-rounder are drawing attention.
The musical 'Paradise', featuring Shinwoo, will be performed from the 15th of next month until October 12 at the Link Art Center Dream 3 Hall in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
