Actor Choi Woo-sung showcased a sophisticated yet refreshing visual.
Choi Woo-sung, in a recent photo shoot conducted with a fashion magazine, not only radiated his natural charm but also boasted a full-blown visual that captured attention.
In the released photo shoot, Choi Woo-sung revealed his charm as if he were a scene from a youth film, completing a sensory atmosphere with a nonchalant yet chic expression and pose. Particularly, by perfectly digesting various styles, he has matured and, with warm visuals and a dreamy yet deep gaze, amplified his emotions, drawing admiration from viewers with his unique aura.
Choi Woo-sung is currently meeting viewers through the TVING original "I Am A Running Mate" as a passionate, exemplary choir leader and strong presidential candidate, "Yang Won-dae." After debuting with mostly mild characters, he has perfectly transformed into the spicy character of "Yang Won-dae," who appears soft but reveals a burning competitive spirit and ambition, garnering significant interest.
In an interview conducted after the shoot, when asked what kind of person Yang Won-dae is in "I Am A Running Mate," Choi Woo-sung noted, "He is a man full of ambitions and strong leadership. He always wants to be on top and tries to control his surroundings as he wishes. However, even a person who seems perfect and takes care of everyone can feel lonely. In moments when things don't go his way, he probably wouldn't want to show it. I discussed with the director about wanting to express those underlying emotions," revealing his unique affection for the character.
Now, six years after his debut, he said, "I have come to know myself. As I act, I keep asking myself, 'There are such people, and there are those kinds, but what kind of person am I?' I feel like I have gradually found myself over these six years," conveying his honest feelings.
On the 19th, through the fully released TVING original "I Am A Running Mate," Choi Woo-sung showcased a perfect acting transformation and is looking forward to meeting global viewers with Netflix's "Can This Love Be Translated?" this second half of the year, increasing expectations for his future activities.
