Pol Kim took his first step as a global MC.
Pol Kim recently participated in the 'Korea-ASEAN Music Festival 2025 ROUND in Malaysia' held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where he fulfilled both the celebratory stage and the MC role, showcasing his talents as a multitainer.
This is his first time MCing on a foreign stage since his debut, giving it a special significance. Moreover, he delivered the entire proceedings in English without an interpreter over the two-day event, which made it even more meaningful. He conveyed a smooth, calm, yet bright energy that helped elevate the festival's dignified proceedings.
This festival received a warm spotlight even before it began. It was a large-scale music festival that brought together 15 teams from 11 countries, including three Korean artists, three Malaysian teams, and participants from nine ASEAN countries. It carried a message of comfort for the immense sorrow and pain left in the ASEAN region due to the devastating earthquake in Myanmar, conveying new hope through the healing power of music.
In addition to being an MC, Pol Kim offered deep emotions as an artist. He performed five songs, including his debut track 'Would You Like a Cup of Coffee?' as well as 'On the Han River', 'I Remember', and 'Everyday, Every Moment', receiving enthusiastic cheers from local fans. Although it was his first stage in Malaysia, he once again proved his elevated status in the ASEAN market. Pol Kim also surprised the audience by preparing a cover of a song by Anyar Zain, known as the queen of Malaysian OSTs, further enhancing the atmosphere.
Pol Kim said, "It was a time filled with new experiences, from my first live performance in Malaysia to my first overseas MC role," adding, "I was happy and grateful for the warm welcome, and I won't forget my feelings of gratitude."
