Actor Park Si-eun sent a message of support to her husband, Jin Tae-hyun, who has completed thyroid cancer surgery.
On the 24th, Park Si-eun posted on her personal Instagram, saying, "Our honey, you are great," along with heart and thumbs-up emojis.
She added, "Thank you to everyone who prayed for us." The post that Park Si-eun regrammed from Jin Tae-hyun included an update stating that he had completed surgery that morning.
In particular, Jin Tae-hyun noted, "As I look back on the past few months, during which I coexisted with the word 'cancer,' whether big or small, deep or shallow, I learned a bit more about how to live my life going forward, and it was a time I am very grateful for." He added, "It was a cancer that could have been treated with surgery, but what would I have done if the situation had been different? While being thankful, I want to convey to everyone nationwide who is fighting cancer that I will always be with you through prayer and various forms of giving. Please stay strong."
Jin Tae-hyun drew attention by mentioning his gratitude to those he was thankful for before this surgery, including his junior actor Kim Woo-bin. He said, "Mr. Woo-bin, although we have never interacted, I appreciate how you have cared for me and encouraged me to overcome my illness. I will cherish the heart of sharing that we both worried about and strive to become a great senior in the entertainment industry. Let's support each other's activities and live well together."
Additionally, he concluded, "I will hold hands with my beloved wife and live expecting the trials and brilliance of each forthcoming minute and second in life." He noted, "It does hurt, but the surgery went well. I thank God, who is my everything, and now I will focus only on recovery and soon run on the field again, as I am a marathon runner."
Jin Tae-hyun announced the news of his battle with thyroid cancer in April and shared plans for surgery in June. After completing the surgery, Jin Tae-hyun is expected to quickly resume broadcasting activities through 'Divorce Adjustment Camp' after his recovery. The 'Divorce Adjustment Camp' side also stated, "Currently, we are not considering changes in the cast. We wish Jin Tae-hyun a speedy recovery."
