The group IVE will be the artist to perform during halftime of the first match of the 2025 Coupang Play Series.
The 'Coupang Play Series' has provided fans with special enjoyment by featuring big matches between world-renowned football clubs and K League stars, along with halftime performances by top K-POP artists annually. This year, it is expected to offer an overwhelming entertainment experience combining sports and music through IVE's stage.
IVE (An Yu-jin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Won-young, Liz, Lee Seo) received much love with their third mini-album 'IVE EMPATHY,' released in February, conveying a message of 'empathy' while moving beyond their unique identity of 'self-assurance.' They recorded a total of 15 wins on music shows with 'REBEL HEART' and 'ATTITUDE' and were recently honored as the most influential female idol at the 2025 Brand Customer Loyalty Awards.
In this halftime show, IVE is expected to energize the atmosphere of the Suwon World Cup Stadium by interacting with the audience through performances of their representative hit songs. Being known as a strong performer of 'K-Fever (Festival Performance),' the group is anticipated to create a special midsummer night, blending the tension of football with the unique energy of K-POP.

The first match, taking place on July 30 at 8 p.m. at the Suwon World Cup Stadium, will feature 'Team K League,' a representative all-star team of the K League, competing against Newcastle United, the 2024/25 Carabao Cup (League Cup) champions. Team K League will consist of 'Fan Eleven,' selected by fan votes, and 'KUPL Young Pros,' showcasing next-generation promising players. Voting for 'KUPL Young Pros' can be participated in through Coupang Play's official social media until June 30.
Presale for the first match of the 2025 Coupang Play Series will start on the 25th at 8 p.m. This presale will be conducted for 'Sports Pass' subscribers, while general ticket sales will open to Coupang Wow members starting on the 26th at 8 p.m. The presale for the following second match will begin on the 27th at 8 p.m., with general sales scheduled for July 4 at 8 p.m. The team that will perform at halftime of the second match will be announced later.
