Former fencing national team Olympic medalist Kim Jun-ho acknowledged the developmental abilities of his second son, Jung-woo.
In the KBS2TV entertainment program 'The Return of Superman' (hereafter referred to as 'Superman'), which aired on the 25th, Kim Jun-ho decided to check the abilities of his 25-month-old son Jung-woo by visiting a professional institution.
In the relevant TES tests, which can check not only intelligence but also teamwork through fencing techniques like pangt, air climbing, and stepping stone tests, Jung-woo literally soared.
Kim Jun-ho said, "Are there kids who do as well as Jung-woo?" while being humble, but the coach insisted, "I have not seen any child who performs as well as Jung-woo so far."
The coach remarked, "His muscle mass surpasses that of ordinary kids," and added, "When climbing things like rock walls, others step with the soles of their feet, but Jung-woo has strong ankle strength. It's things that his peers can't do, such as balancing on a beam and jumping off the vault," recommending Jung-woo to pursue sports. Kim Jun-ho expressed, "I have never considered sports as a career path, but I'm thinking whether Jung-woo has a talent for sports and if I should encourage him. I'm worried," acknowledging his concern for his son as he has experienced being an athlete.
However, Kim Jun-ho stated, "Based on professional data, he is in the top 1%, but that small and stocky style is disadvantageous in fencing. If he does sports, I would like to make him try something other than fencing," adding, "It suits outdoor sports; something like golf," subtly recommending another sport.
