Comedian Kim Tae-kyun reported on his recent weight loss.
On the 24th, Kim Tae-kyun appeared as a guest in the KBS1 "Morning Yard" Tuesday Special Invitation.
That day, when Kim Tae-kyun appeared, MC Kim Jae-won noted, "Your face has become slimmer," expressing surprise. Announcer Eom Ji-in also joked, "What have you done?"
In response, Kim Tae-kyun candidly revealed, "I'm doing performances, new songs are coming out, I'm publishing a book, so I'm trying to look good by exercising a bit and I've also been running a bit and adjusting my diet lately, and then it seems like my head has gotten a bit smaller, which I didn't think would happen."
He asked the audience, "Don't you think I look smaller?" and Eom Ji-in replied, "It's definitely smaller since I last saw you a year ago," expressing admiration. Then Kim Tae-kyun responded, "You've become more beautiful," creating a warm atmosphere.
MC Kim Jae-won asked about the response after his last appearance, saying, "How has it been since you visited Morning Yard?" and Kim Tae-kyun responded, "Last year, to celebrate my 30th anniversary, I did my first solo Kim Tae-kyun Show, and after appearing on Morning Yard, ticket sales skyrocketed. They sold out. So other event planning companies said that the Kim Tae-kyun Show is fun, and this year I'll be touring in over 10 cities. Thanks to Morning Yard, this week marks the start of my performances in Seoul, and from then onwards, I'll be touring 12 cities. Since I'll be visiting many cities I couldn't go to last year, you should look forward to it."
Eom Ji-in said, "I wonder if this will lead to a world tour," and Kim Tae-kyun said, "I have gained many elementary school student fans while doing radio. When I came to Morning Yard, the audience ranged from teenagers to the healthy 90s. It has turned into a performance that spans 80 years," he expressed his gratitude.
