Comedian Lee Bong-won, who appeared on 'Radio Star,' has revealed that he has entered a second prime period with his jjampong business, surprising everyone with a serenade for his wife, Park Mi-sun.
The MBC show 'Radio Star' (planned by Kang Young-sun / directed by Kim Myung-yeob, Hwang Yoon-sang, Byeon Da-hee), which will air on Wednesday, 26th at 10:30 p.m., is decorated with a special featuring Lee Bong-won, Hong Seok-cheon, Cha Jun-hwan, and Kang Ji-young, titled 'Business Is So Easy~!'
Lee Bong-won shares that he is taking over Chungcheong-do with his jjampong business, surprising the MCs. He notes, "I've been in business in Cheonan for 8 years," explaining that he currently operates a jjampong restaurant and recently "expanded to three locations and even entered a department store."
Lee Bong-won also talks about the 'tear meme' that originated from him, where actress Sunwoo Yongnyeo shed tears while mentioning Park Mi-sun's hardships on a previous episode of 'Radio Star.' He thanks MC Kim Gu-ra, who represented him at the time, saying, "I saw that meme," causing laughter in the studio.
He then sings a 'surprise serenade' prepared for his wife, Park Mi-sun. Lee Bong-won, who brought his self-taught guitar, reportedly sang 'The Story of a Couple in Their 60s' with heartfelt sincerity.
Additionally, Lee Bong-won reminisces about the grand wedding with Park Mi-sun. He mentions that, at the time, congratulatory flower arrangements poured in from all three major broadcasting stations, and the wedding was packed with broadcasting officials, while his junior members from the singing group Tintin Five caused some awkward moments with their performance, sparking curiosity. Meanwhile, Lee Bong-won makes everyone laugh with a 'self-dis' about how he even messed up the show. He describes the situation during his appearance on MBC 'Splash,' saying, "After I was taken to the emergency room, it was canceled," recalling comments like, "Lee Bong-won ruined his business and then the show too," surprising everyone.
