The group ENHYPEN delivered a breathtaking thrill ride with their intense chase scene.
ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Niki) unveiled the music video for the follow-up track 'Outside' from their mini album 'DESIRE: UNLEASH' on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel at 12 a.m. on the 23rd.
The music video features a chase scene to prevent chaos in the city as the shadow, another 'me' created by desire, flows into reality. As it dodges the main body and weaves between buildings or ambushes stores, the increasingly intense action heightens the tension.
The unique hip-hop style of the members suits the mood of the hip-hop trap track, capturing attention. The shadow's kitschy yet distinctive styling, reminiscent of characters from a game, contrasts sharply with the monotone outfits of the main body, enhancing the immersion in the narrative.
The powerful performance stands out as the highlight. The choreography, infused with the message 'I will run past the line to you,' showcases a rugged and dynamic charm. Centered around Heeseung, the members gather in a circle for vigorous stomping, and various formations of unit choreography, along with synchronized movements involving fingers and elbows, create an exhilarating thrill throughout the performance. Additionally, the charismatic raps and group vocals leave a strong impression.
ENHYPEN is achieving remarkable success with their mini album 'DESIRE: UNLEASH.' This album recorded the second-highest first-week sales (2.14 million copies) among K-pop albums released this year and reached No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200' (as of June 21), showcasing the stature of the 'K-pop top-tier group' ENHYPEN.
The world tour 'ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR 'WALK THE LINE' is also progressing successfully. On the 21st, ENHYPEN performed before approximately 30,000 fans (referred to as ENGENE) at Thailand's largest venue, Rajamangala National Stadium. They are poised to make a rapid entry into Japanese stadiums within the shortest period (4 years and 7 months) among overseas artists this coming July and August.
